YetepThe newest music video’s in edm include Lido‘s “Murder,” GTA‘s “Little Bit of This” with Vince Staples, and Flume and Tove Lo‘s “Say It.” Keep on reading for a closer look at each of these films.
Lido “Murder”
With his “Everything” album on the way, young artist Lido has released “Crazy,” and now releases “Murder” off the LP, and it’s music video as well. The video’s graphics done by Les Vandales, consist of series of geometric shapes and illusions that are in harmony with the track. Lido himself does’t make an appearances in the video, but the shapes and patterns in the visuals can be recognized from his tour flyer.
GTA ft. Vince Staples “Little Bit of This”
GTA is set to release their “Good Times Ahead” album on October 7th that will feature Tinashe, Tunji Ige, and Iamsu. Just released is their music video for “Little Bit Of This” featuring Vince Staples who has also been busy with his new EP, Prima Donna, as well as collaborations with Flume, The Roots on Fallon, ScHoolboy Q, and a tour with James Blake. The video for their collab directed by David Helman stars Staples in a dusty field with cars whizzing around him from every angle.
Flume ft. Tove Lo “Say it”
Flume and Tove Lo teamed up back in April for “Say it” off of his Skin LP. Now, it has a music video that’s visually striking which stars a girl with an astronaut like appearance performing simple acrobatics against a glass wall in zero gravity. Later a glass polygonal figure which appears to be her own reflection of some sort joins her and they dance to the remainder of the song, representing the self conflict in the lyrics.
