Artist Spotlight – In the Zoo with Zhu

The highly respected producer known as Zhu started his career as an anonymous project, but has since then climbed the ladder to become one of the most followed artists in the EDM industry. Stephen Zhu came into the scene in 2014, slowly releasing singles under the anonymous name of ‘ZHU.’ His first EP, ‘The Nightday,’ which featured his hit single Faded got him nominated for a Grammy.

In 2015, ZHU released his second EP which included the collaborations of multiple chart-topping artists like Skrillex, AlunaGeorge, A-Trak, Gallant, and more. After the success of this album, he set off on his first tour and played the one and only Coachella.

His debut album Generationwhy landed him endless praise and support, with hit tracks like ‘In The Morning’ and ‘Working for It.’ The 14 track is a journey through hard dance cuts and raw emotion, with each song being unique and energetically addictive.

It has been said that Zhu’s live sets are a must see. Lucky for us he joins the lineup for the upcoming Phoenix Lights Festival, along with names like Oliver Heldens, Ekali, and Keys N Krates. This will be the show you don’t want to miss!
