YetepHailing from down under we have LO’99 and Double Agent with their recent edit collaboration, “Big For Your Boots.” The two come from Medium Rare Recordings, straight out of Australia, so they decided to work together on the release off of This Song Slaps.
As can be heard, the track takes one away with a low-tempo intro, falling echo, and a build right into the vocals. With numerous styles of vocals layered on top of some deep electro-tones, this edit has it all. In essence, the track represents both sexes with a quirky, feminine ballad and later, a rigid hip hop anthem.
As this song shows, there is a ton of talent coming out of Australia, and LO’99 and Double Agent definitely fit that agenda. Currently, LO’99 is in the midst of some American shows and will be finishing off the series with a set at EDC Las Vegas next month.
