YetepAC Slater, king of bass house grooves, has built a name for himself and become known for his “Night Bass” sound. He turned that sounds in his successful Night Bass label that releases some of the most groundbreaking and forward-thinking bass-heavy dance music in the underground. He fuses elements of house music with the dirty basslines of UK garage and old-school synths to make a totally unique brand of music.
Even before the curation of Night Bass AC Slater was turning out bass ridden bangers, such as our Spin it Back Saturday tune this week, “Ass Drop” featuring Dell Harris.
“Ass Drop” is a wonky, bass-driven track from AC Slater’s 2012 EP Party Animals. Dell Harris’ smooth rap rhythm makes this song the perfect turn up track. His career showed a ton of promise even five years ago when he was still and up and comer. AC Slater’s style has seen some change and transition but the energy and dedication to that bass sound have stood true.
AC Slater is bringing his special Night Bass Summer Phases to Monarch Theatre on Saturday, July 2nd alongside Jack Beats and more to be announced! You won’t want to miss it, grab your tickets here.
