YetepIf underground-indie-future-bass is a genre then Kid Froopy is the King. He recently got on my radar when he was retweeted by Zeds Dead for his remix of their collab with NGHTMRE titled “Frontlines.” Kid Froopy has a happy yet distinct sound. He shops his own vocals and uses them in his songs and remixes. The vocal chops combined with his own unique future bass supersaws create an intriguing sound that gives his music an indie feel. Check out “Frontlines” (Kid Froopy Remix) on soundcloud.
Kid Froopy’s latest release captures his style perfectly by combining the indie guitar riffs with his classic future beats and synths. He combines sounds in such a perfect way that results in blissful chill music, like his track “Drive Slow.” His tunes are sure to have any BBQ or kick-back grooving.
We’re looking forward to hearing more from Kid Froopy. His career is just starting and we can’t wait to see what he does next.
