YetepAfter dropping the trap-tinged powerhouse known as “Align,” Buku is back with something even more aurally challenging to any soft sound on the market. His newest track, “Control,” was recently released as a free download and contains more punch than that weird jungle juice at some dude’s party.
With a sinister bassline and sometimes-techno synths reverberating off of each other, Buku is proving he’s not just another wannabe on the market. The infatuated beats mesh with the hip-hop elements by the midpoint and counter the instrumentals with a deep bass-like vocalization. “Control” is a clear example of trap finding harmony within other genre influences. In a world where the trap sub-genre can sometimes be overpopulated, we need to rely on artists like Buku to get the job done right. Get the free download here.
