Dillon Francis Changes it up With “Hello There”

Dillon Francis has never been one for subtleties, and that certainly didn’t change during the build-up of his latest single “Hello There,” which was finally released. The track, featuring California rapper/singer Yung Pinch, is a playful melody and a real change of pace from what we normally receive from Dillon. It’s upbeat and light, inspiring nostalgia for a summer that only just ended, demonstrating the diversity Dillon is capable of as an artist.

For weeks now, Dillon has been teasing at the release, using traditional methods of promotion, like social media, while also using some more unique methods, like plastering posters of a random guy eating a pineapple and sporting a creepy smile, all over his hometown of Los Angeles. Pineapple man will even sing for you if you visit the URL posted on the sign: hellothere.org.

The track was much worth the wait, and as for the unorthodox methods of advertising the new single – well, we would expect nothing less from Dillon. You can catch Dillon Francis at Goldrush this November. Get your tickets and more info here.
