YetepLate last month Dion Timmer released a 56-minute mix as a precursor to his set at Lost Lands Music Festival later that weekend. The second installment in his “Neon Mix” series contains original music (released and not), as well as some of the 18-year-old producer’s current favorite tracks and some songs from his friends. You’ll be hearing tunes from Wooli, Barely Alive, Bijou, and G Jones along with many more. The mix also features Timmer’s brand new single “Bezerk” with MagMag.
Neon Mix Vol. 2 is an awesome collection of electronic music. Timmer took care to include a wide array of genres, from cool deep house to gnarly dubstep. This 61-track mix is sure to make you feel all sorts of ways. I know that’s what it did to me.
Dion Timmer is quite a unique musician, hailing from the Netherlands, the shockingly young artist has made a name for himself with the likes of Excision and Bro Safari. His harsh static-like sounds allow him to create amazingly heavy drops, like his remix of The Chainsmokers’ Something Just Like This. Like other current bass-music producers, Timmer often taps into his more melodic side as you can see in the new mix.
