YetepAccording to her bio on Resident Advisor, dance music changed her life, and Nicole Moudaber once again is returning the favor to her fans. Moudaber recently dropped a new episode of her exclusive radio show ‘In The Mood’; Episode 184 live from Awakenings in Amsterdam. This new episode featured a back to back set from Moudaber herself and Danny Tenaglia.
‘In The Mood’ has become known for its interesting production choices and large amount of original stylings. With her milky alto introducing us to the carnage of both Nicole and Danny, she makes it clear nothing is in the way of stopping this legendary set. It begins as a pounding, jungle-tinged house beat but quickly evolves into a lighter tribal-esque beat backed by foreboding and obscured vocal stems. The set hits a crescendo around 41:43 when an incredible throbbing bass is matched with unexpected and sharp synth noises. The chemistry between Tenaglia and Moudaber is evident.
The set finally comes to its well-deserved rest by the 46-minute mark, when we are treated to something up the traditional house alley. This ending would be perfect for a 4 AM set when the club is just getting out, and if the time allowed for it, we can definitely tell both DJs could go on longer. Check out her new episode of “In The Mood,” and be sure to catch Nicole Moudaber when she takes the stage at Goldrush 2017.
