YetepIn a homage to the late Chester Bennington, Steve Aoki recently released a remix of the Linkin Park song, “One More Light,” and it’s beautiful. It’s clear throughout the heartfelt song that Aoki was deeply affected by Bennington’s passing. The two were good friends who collaborated on more than one occasion, including in the 2013 Linkin Park track, “Light That Never Comes.”
Aoki has posted several tributes to Bennington on both his Twitter and Instagram page. Check out the remix below.
Aoki is donating all the proceeds from the remix to Music for Relief’s One More Light Fund in Bennington’s name, a fund set up to support Bennington’s favorite program: Solar Suitcases, which provides solar electricity kits for health clinics in remote areas without electricity. The fund in Bennington’s name will also shed light on mental health issues, as Bennington battled with depression himself.
