Heldeep Radio: Your New Favorite Podcast

Oliver Heldens has been on my radar for quite some time. The Dutch DJ and producer first caught my eye, or ears, in 2013 when he released his breakout hit “Gecko (Overdrive).” The bassline was infectious and I was struck. The young talent continued to impress me for years to come as he adopted an alias (Hi-Lo), took on numerous ‘side projects’, like his residency in Ibiza and with BBC Radio 1,  and even created his own label, Heldeep Records. There isn’t a thing he does that I don’t love. My favorite Heldens creation, though, is Heldeep Radio. With over 180 episodes of the podcast/radio show, it’s safe to say OH has mastered the craft of mixing. Each episode is comprised of the best in house, tech, disco, pop, and the genres of music go on. Episode #140, below, is a personal favorite that I revisit often. It’s perfect for nearly any situation.

Better yet, this is a weekly podcast, meaning I get my Heldeep fix on a regular basis.
