YetepBig news! DJ Snake launched his new record label earlier this week. He relished about his newly created label, Premiere Classe, saying, “I wanted to first build a platform and then use it to shine a light on music and people that I believe in.” Creating a label is arguably one of the most rewarding things an artist can do. Moving from creating your own music and helping others make theirs is something DJ Snake is passionate about is seemingly passionate about. The goal of the label is to showcase a variety of styles and genres. DJ Snake says he grew up being inspired by different cultures, sounds, feelings, and emotions and the label he created is to be a representation of the things that DJ Snake stands for as an artist.
With the news of this label came the release of the label’s first single from 4B and TEEZ. Check it out below!
“Whistle” is one that DJ Snake has played at many of his own shows. The collaborators of the song, 4B and Teez, are both New Jersey natives, 4B being heavily involved in the trap scene. DJ Snake is credited as one of the first artists to push out support on behalf of 4B so it’s no surprise he’s supporting him now.
Whistle is a heavily catchy track, with both power and a crisp overall feel, showing just how promising the future of “Premiere Class” seems to be.
