Slushii Finds His Wings on New EP

Slushii is taking no prisoners with his new EP, Find Your Wings. We’re only a few months into 2018, and already he’s making this year his. The album seems to be a declaration of who he is as an artist, which is definitely not one to be underestimated. The tracks all start off with either a future bass or progressive house feel, putting the listener in a relaxed, vibey mood – then the beat drops and the dubstep suddenly takes over and wakes you up. It’s unexpected and it’s badass… just like Slushii. Even the track names and lyrics, like “Level Up” (“I’m on a whole ‘nother level… oops”) “No More”, “Fired Up”, and “Where I’m At” are an obvious statement about how he perceives himself and his music. In a final touch, Slushii’s album cover art features an intimidating skeleton monster in the middle of a storm with a glowing sword. It’s a powerful picture for a powerful album.

The track for which the album is named, “Find Your Wings,” is a perfect representation of what Slushii has created with this whole album. It’s delicate in the beginning with almost a hint of euphoria, and the dubstep laced throughout the track is melodic and beautiful. Slushii has really given us something special with this EP. Here’s to more magic in the future!
