YetepAs we continue twiddling our thumbs in anticipation for the release of Claptone’s sophomore album, FANTAST, set to be released June 8, Claptone keeps the suspense alive with releases like “In The Night,” “Stay The Night,” and “Under The Moon,” providing a brief glimpse at the production we can expect in this upcoming album. This week’s Relentless Beat of the Week is his fourth and most recent single, “Birdsong.” Take a listen below.
Featuring the indie/electronic band Zola Blood, “Birdsong” is a down tempo, melodic track showcasing instrumental texture and fluidity. It’s light and airy, as the title would suggest, a departure from the upbeat singles we have seen so far from the impending FANTAST.
You can catch Claptone for a night in the Wild Wild West at this year’s Goldrush Festival coming up this September. Phase 1 of announcements are complete, and the lineup is already looking stacked. These tickets will go fast–grab them now!
