YetepWildlyf has created something with “Wrong” that is easily enjoyed. Featuring Vic August‘s emotional RnB flavor, it’s easy to feel. He sings, “it’s okay to cry/it’s okay to cry” while the track builds, then the future bass portion of the track drops and it feels huge, present, and special.
The 18-year-old Australian native is proving to be a producer to watch out for. Whether it’s original tracks like “Be There” or remixing Skrillex or What So Not, the cuts keep coming. There’s a moment in all his tracks where he drops a sample that says “perfect.” Video games fans will recognize the sample’s origin is the Street Fighter video games series. You’d only hear the sample in the video game when you won a fight without getting touched. For Wildlyf it’s a fitting sample as he’s kind of untouchable right now.
