YetepEarning the coveted title of Number One DJ in the world five times (four of which were consecutive), being dubbed the king of trance, and releasing forward-thinking music for more than two decades, Armin Van Buuren is an artist who deserves the hype that surrounds his name and his music. After releasing trance and pop-influenced anthems this year like “The Last Dancer” with Axtone heavyweight Shapov, “Sex, Love & Water” with singer Conrad Sewell, and most recently “Therapy” with James Newman, the relentless artist has yet another release, “Blah Blah Blah.”
Armin van Buuren – Blah Blah Blah (Official Lyric Video)
Similar to his iconic 2017 record “This Is A Test,” a sonic masterpiece that went viral thanks to the theatrical audio and visual experience at festivals like EDC and Tomorrowland, “Blah Blah Blah” is a departure from what you would expect a typical trance track to sound like by keeping a clever vocal motif the centerpiece of the record rather than overly-emotional chords and synth crescendos, which can be a nice change of pace during a full-length DJ set. Released on Armada, Armin’s label imprint, the newest single foreshadows what one could expect from the forthcoming “Blah Blah Blah” EP which comes fully-equipped with records like “The Last Dancer,” “Just As You Are,” (as Rising Star) and “Popcorn.” The EP is now available for pre-order here.
