YetepBack in March, the silky-haired Seven Lions released an instant cornerstone track with Jason Ross titled “Ocean” featuring Jonathan Mendelsohn. As if the beautiful track wasn’t a perfect gift by itself, the pair has just presented a remix package of “Ocean,” with reimaginations pristinely done by Au5 and Grant on Seven Lions’ Ophelia record label. Following this release, Seven Lions and Jason Ross continue their journey this fall with “The Journey 2” tour, which includes a stop at The Van Buren in Phoenix!
Colorado-based producer Au5 proves that he can’t be constricted by genre definitions with his remix of “Ocean.” He adds an electrifying twist to the original, which transforms the melodious original into a glitch-bass rendition. On an entirely different and upbeat note, Grant delivers his “Ocean” remix with a refreshing jolt of color and pop sensibility, ingredients that secure its spot as a fan favorite this summer. The Monstercat artist is already adored for his powerful remixes of tracks by Selena Gomez, San Holo, and Arizona.
Seven Lions fans have plenty to be excited for in 2018, as the prolific producer will be embarking on his next tour, “The Journey 2.” This tour is his largest North American run so far, hitting 42 cities in under three months with support from MitiS, Jason Ross, and Au5.
