YetepFirst hitting the scene in 2013 with their new moniker RÜFÜS DU SOL, the trio behind some of EDM’s most beloved tunes never disappoint. Songs like “You Were Right” and “Like an Animal” have gained millions of plays and are found in sets across the world to this day.
2 years after the release of their hit album Bloom, RÜFÜS DU SOL is back with a brand-new track, “No Place.”
“No Place” has a mysterious aura will take listeners by surprise. The track begins with haunting, yet captivating vocals. The secrecy of whispers within the track segue into a hypnotizing tangle of musical melodies. Each layer of the song builds upon itself. With lyrics like, “You run your fingers through the palm of my hand, pulling me closer, I’m drawn by your command, it’s like I’ve seen you, like I’ve known you before,” RÜFÜS DU SOL truly depicts a dark ambiance that the listener must piece together in order to feel the full effect. “No Place” gives the illumination of déjà vu.
Looking to the future, if their forthcoming third album aims to be as intricate and thoughtful as “No Place,” then it cannot come soon enough. With fans that are captured by their sound, there really is “No Place” like a RÜFÜS DU SOL song.
