YetepFilth Master, King of Bass, Monarch of Vomitstep– you know him best as Snails. His songs have slid their way onto labels like OWSLA, Dim Mak, and MonsterCat and have earned him a dedicated fanbase. Taking the next step in his career, Snails just recently launched his record label Slugz Music.
Upon the launch of the label is the release of a new single! Prepare your eardrums for annihilation, because it’s every bit as assaulting as you’d expect from the artist who coined the term “Vomitstep.” The Montreal native Snails crafted “Shake the Ground” with artist Jake Stanczak, better known as Kill The Noise. Check it out below.
“Shake The Ground” lays the foundations for the aesthetic of Slugz Music with its rock n’ roll and heavy metal influences. Early in the track, the listener is immersed into rumbling vocals, heavy electric guitar, and soul-shattering, booming bass to make your shoes quake. Snails and Kill The Noise began the track more than a year ago, enlisting the help of metal influenced artists Sullivan King and Jonah Kay in its evolution.
When describing what “Shake the Noise” really means to him, Snails stated, “The energy of the crowds when we drop this song at festivals is what makes it all worth it. Really, really proud of this one!”
Fans of both Snails and Kill The Noise can be sure to hear “Shake the Ground” at their b2b Hard Summer set in just a few months. Check out Snails tour dates below!
