YetepAfter the release of his 2014 instant hit, “CoCo,” O.T. Genasis has proved that he is more than a one-hit wonder. Far from that, Genasis has been turning out countless party anthems since the start of his career.
Odis Flores (Genasis’ birth name) originates from Long Beach, California. He got his start in the LA club scene, where he was recognized by Busta Rhymes for the high energy of his live performances. These days, his memorable lyrics are yelled out by enthusiastic crowds at clubs and festivals across the country. Let’s take a look at the hits that got Genasis to where he is today.
1. “CoCo”
“CoCo” is the track that rocketed O.T. Genasis into mainstream fame. Everybody knows the words to this iconic chorus—and it’s sure to get all party-goers to sing along. “CoCo” is the start of Genasis’ legacy: four years later and the track is still a must-have on any turn up playlist.
2. “Cut It”
The sentiment of this 2015 O.T. Genasis hit is something that everyone can get behind: “Your price is way too high, you need to cut it.” Mix together the relatable message, the incredibly catchy beat, and a killer Young Dolph feature and it’s easy to see why “Cut It” was an instant viral hit.

3. “Everybody Mad”
“Everybody Mad,” released in 2017, is one of Genasis’ more recent chart-topping tracks. Since this spring, there has been a huge resurgence of talk about this song, but for a very important reason. Beyoncé threw a remix of “Everybody Mad” into her 2018 Coachella set and crowds went wild. It’s a certified banger—now with the golden stamp of Yoncé’s approval.

4. “Cash On It”
Genasis’ latest single, “Cash On It,” is bound to join the ranks of the rest of his consecrated party anthems. The catchy chorus of “Put da cash on it” will definitely stick around. With a single like this, Genasis is showing no signs of slowing down.
Don’t miss the chance to hear all these hits performed live this Thursday, August 30th, at the Americana Tempe! Grab your O.T. Genasis tickets here!
