YetepChicago-based duo, Louis the Child is at it again with their latest release, “Dear Sense” a collaboration with New York City-born pop and soul singer, MAX. With punchy, 80’s-vibed synths and repetitive percussion moving the song forward, “Dear Sense” is sheer dance pop genius, and we would expect nothing less from Louis the Child. Check out the single below.
“Lyrically, the song speaks to sense as if it were a human,” Louis The Child and MAX said about the collaboration. “We feel everyone has moments where life feels like it doesn’t make sense, and sometimes when we feel we’ve finally made sense of things, it quickly goes away. This song is about dealing with this constant loss of sense.”
Both Louis the Child and MAX are on fire right now. MAX has been teaming up with some other big names in the dance music industry, including for the recent Galantis track, “Satisfied.” Similarly, Louis the Child recently teamed up with Wafia for the successful single “Better Not.”
You can catch Louis the Child alongside Illenium, Deorro, Slushii, and many, many more at Goldrush Festival this coming Sepeember. You can see the full lineup, get all the information you need, and purchase tickets here.
