YetepFinnish DJ and producer Otto Yliperttula, a.k.a. Yotto, is quickly rising to the top in the world of House music. Having debuted on Anjunadeep just a couple years back in 2015, he quickly caught the attention of BBC Radio 1, leading him to over 40 million streams with support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Eric Prydz, Adriatique, and Joris Voorn, who ultimately signed Yotto to his renowned Green label.
The artist just announced the release of his debut album, Hyperfall, along with his biggest tour to date, starting in Europe and making his way to both North and South America. He previously released the lead single, “The One You Left Behind” as a taste of what’s to come.
“This record is generally inspired by the feeling of having lost and found your car keys at the same time,” Yotto said about the album. “There’s drama, distress and deep, profound contemplation mirrored with relief and relentless joy.”
A culmination of Yotto’s last three years of ascendance, “Hyperfall” will include 13 tracks. It drops on September 7th, just weeks before his appearance here in the Valley. Catch Yotto at Goldrush Festival on September 29. You can see the full lineup for this festival and purchase tickets here.
