YetepBrasstracks is a funky musical project from the minds of Ivan Jackson and Connor Rayne. All their tracks are smooth like butter from start to finish. Brasstrack’s music is unlike any other, with smooth bass instruments, horns, and whistles that infatuate soundwaves. Last week, they dropped a follow up to last year’s massive EP For Those Who Know Pt. 1. For Those Who Know Pt. 2 is a dapper musical journey from start to finish.
With a perfect balance of cozy jazz solos and euphoric blues lyrics, this EP is one for the books. The best way to listen to this EP is to just press shuffle, crank up the volume, and sit back. The track “I’ll Sing About You” gets special recognition because of its insane grand and elegant sound. Comparing the first EP to the second part is almost impossible. Both are beautiful and musical works of art. Brasstracks is perfect for fans of artists like Griz and Goldfish.
Brasstracks is bringing the funk to Shady Park on September 21 when they stop by on their ‘For Those Who Missed It’ tour. Grab tickets here!
