YetepThe latest release on Never Say Die Records takes it up a notch from the label’s already notoriously heavy programming. “Frequency Jammer” comes from Las Vegas producer Shaun Bacus, better known as HEKLER. As someone still relatively new to the bass scene, coming up just last year in 2017, HEKLER is already making big moves. In August, he gave his first Arizona festival performance at Bassrush Massive and he’s been all over the festival circuit this summer. This Fall, HEKLER will be on tour with Snails for ‘The Shell 2.0’ tour.
Indulge in HEKLER’s filthy distortion below, if you dare.
“Frequency Jammer” shows exactly why fans of heavy bass have been showing their love for HEKLER. The track blasts off with a high-end so intense that it nearly overwhelms. It’s surely not for casual listeners. HEKLER is crafting a sound for his personal crowd of headbangers: those seeking the more industrial, metallic flavors of bass.
