YetepThe name Rezz has become synonymous with all things dark and mysterious. Her following, “the cult” as they like to call themselves, know this all too well. The Canadian DJ and producer has just revealed her darkest work to date, an eerie Halloween mixtape, A Nightmare on Rezz Street. Comprised of 13 unreleased IDs, interspersed with audio snippets from classic horror films, this 32-minute mix plays like a haunted house soundtrack.
Better yet, this spooky mixtape includes a visual component that complements the tunes perfectly. The beginning of the video follows Rezz’s journey through an animated forest of flames before the iconic scene from Poltergeist serves as a chilling introduction to cleverly-cut black and white archive footage.
Nightmare on Rezz Street is a full audio/visual experience that isn’t for the light-hearted. Check it out below.

With the release, Rezz said, “Just want to make clear that this mix is a combo of stuff I made years ago and also newer stuff. It’s music that was sitting around on my computer & I wanted fans to hear either way because I always wonder what my favorite artists never released.”
Arguably her busiest year so far, 2018 marked the release of REZZ’s highly-anticipated second album, Certain Kind of Magic. Off the back of a hectic summer run of shows, which included praised performances at Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Coachella, and Electric Zoo to name a few, she recently played a soldout ‘REZZ Rocks’ show at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. You can catch her next at Decadence AZ this December, where she’ll be joining Skrillex, Porter Robinson, Alison Wonderland, and many more–grab tickets here.
