Spin it Back Saturday: Eric Prydz – ‘Call on Me’

Break out the leg warmers and spandex because we’re throwing it back to 2004 with a track that conjures the 80’s vibes. Sweetish producer and DJ, Eric Prydz, made for a name himself by creating techno and progressive house tracks in the early 2000’s that are timeless and terribly awesome. With his 2004 hit “Call on Me”, he transcended what EDM entailed at the time and garnered the attention from the masses. The track topped the UK singles chart for five weeks and was number one on the German Top 100 for six consecutive weeks.  The track is utterly legendary for it pushed Prydz into the spotlight, helping him get to where he is today.

Because Spin it Back Saturday is a sacred day to commemorate and celebrate the tracks that take us back, and Prydz was JUST announced for Decadence, this track was an obvious choice. Press play on “Call On Me” and lets transport back to 2004.
