The Collab We Didn’t Know We Needed: Kingdom Hearts & Skrillex

Even if you’ve never been a gamer, you’ve likely at least heard part of the soundtrack for one of the Kingdom Hearts games. They feature ethereal tracks that transcend your typical video game tracks, and now they’re about to ascend to a whole new level of heavenly sound. The king of EDM hearts Skrillex was recently confirmed to be teaming up with Utada Hikaru, the theme musician for Kingdom of Hearts, to create the opening theme song on Kingdom Hearts 3.

Previously, Skrillex was only going to remix “Don’t Think Twice,” from Kingdom of Hearts III. Now his remix, along with the new opening theme song, will be released January 18, 2019. It’s official guys, Skrillex is back, and better than ever!
