The Run Down on Anti Up

Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo are the two firmly planted pillars who hold up the House genre. Both hailing from the UK, they have a lot more in common than their origins. They are both wildly successful house producers and have found themselves in the studio together.

Way back in 2015, Lake and Lorenzo released their first collaboration with “Piano Hand,” a song that was unlike any at its time. It was the kind of song that would play at a small festival stage, stop you in your tracks, and pull you to the middle of the crowd for a soul purifying dance sesh with the squad. Soon after came “Wicked Games” as well as “The Calling,” which premiered via Mixmag. 2017 saw the duo release their main stage staple “Nothing Better” via Insomnia Records that quickly earned over half a million plays on Soundcloud.

The people wanted more and the duo delivered. At EDC Las Vegas 2018, Chris² graced the Cosmic Meadow stage and debuted their new collective project, Anti Up. As someone who caught that set, I can confirm the ante for every other producer just went up. Months later, the duo released their first track that is a slice of heaven. Their debut release, “Pizza” is as delicious as it sounds, and just like that, Anti Up upped the ante.

“Pizza” and these boys have us salivating for some live action. You can catch both Lorenzo and Lake as Anti Up at Decadence this NYE. Grab your tickets here.
