Above & Beyond Drop Their First Collaborative Single Since 2010

Above & Beyond has been at the top of their game since the very beginning. Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki have quickly earned a name for themselves as the kings of progressive trance. They haven’t collaborated with an artist since 2010, until now (for those playing Jeopardy at home, their last collaboration was “Anphonic” with Kyau & Albert).

“Long Way From Home” with Spencer Brown & RBBTS breaks their 8-year streak, for the better. Christmas is coming early this year with this present from the 6 creative minds that brought this track to life. The track is a progressive trip down the rabbit hole, with big-room synths, eclectic drumkits, and harmonizing vocals. The icing on the cake is the sensory overload experienced by watching the track’s music video. This track stays true to Above & Beyond’s world-famous sound, while still enveloping the hypnotizing Spencer Brown bassline.

Above & Beyond and Spencer Brown recently concluded a world tour together, and during this time they’ve developed a creative bond and deep friendship. In a statement, Spencer Brown explained, “’Dream on little dreamer.’ A message that rung in my head after seeing Above & Beyond as a fan, in 2014. After singing my music with Anjunabeats, in 2016, our musical and personal relationship deepened. We’ve toured the world together. Now, we’ve penned this song – drawing deep from our hearts – about the crazy lives we lead.”
