YetepThe season of giving is always alive and well when Ekali hits Twitter. The bass renegade recently released the fifth installment of his edit packs. This 6-track edit pack includes remixes of popular tracks like Porter Robinson’s “Divinity,” Illenium’s “Fortress,” RL Grime’s “Feel Free,” and more. Most will be happy to know that these edits match those of the ones in his live sets. Equally as exciting and important, there is one mystery track mixed with “Mo Babma” that leads us to believe we’ve got a new Ekali song in the pipeline; a gift within a gift.

Although you can enjoy this edit pack for free on Bandcamp, listeners are encouraged to leave donations through the site which will go towards a mentorship for young musicians in Vancouver. Good music for a good cause? Ekali went to Twitter saying he’s excited to start helping local and growing artists in Vancouver.
“This is free by the way! Any $ you donate will go towards a studio space I am opening pro bono to mentor young musicians and provide them with a space to work in Vancouver,” tweeted Ekali.
We most certainly will be hitting purchase and play. Will you?
