YetepWith a splash of jazz, a drop of brass instruments, and a serving of fresh vocals, “Baby Don’t Let Me Down” makes for the perfect Valentine’s Day track. Colorado-based DJ, producer, and saxophone player SoDown is the mastermind behind this lovey-dovey bedroom banger, and it’s one of the more laid-back and ambient tracks we’ve seen from him. The track is a slow, yet still an upbeat fusion of jazz and electronic. The melody in “Baby Don’t Let Me Down” is tranquil, combining exquisite piano bars, strong brass instruments, and harmonic bass. If you’re a fan of Griz or Big Gigantic and are looking for your new favorite artist, look no further than SoDown.
“Baby Don’t Let Me Down” is the first new track of 2019 we’ve seen from 30-year-old Ehren Wright. After having a crazy busy 2018, releasing an EP Jet Black along with a handful of other singles and playing huge shows like Electric Forest. SoDown performed his first show in 2017 opening for Pretty Lights at the world famous Red Rock Amphitheatre.
SoDown is bringing the funk to Shady Park on April 26th. Grab tickets here!
