The Evolution of DJ Scheme

Straight out of Palm Beach, DJ Scheme (Gabe Guerra) has been behind a lot of the noise coming from Florida for quite some years. Now he’ll finally be releasing his own project, Scheme Season, later this year. Some singles from the project have been released already, foreshadowing an overall favorable sound that is sure to accelerate his success.

Before becoming a fundamental piece of Florida’s sound, he passed the time by playing soccer. After experimenting with various instruments, he found a love for turntables and eventually- producing. Guerra linked with Isaiah Rivera, and the two worked together to curate Wifisfuneral. Guerra served as the official DJ of the two and Rivera as the vocals. In 2017, the 2 parted ways to pursue other projects but still remain on good terms. In this separation- Guerra created the persona DJ Scheme and began collaborating with other artists such as Ski Mask The Slump God, Night Lovell, Denzel Curry, Robb Banks & more, which you can find featured on his Scheme Season project. His most anticipated song to date is “Hey Mister” featuring Ski Mask The Slump God, released earlier this year.

Guerra contributed as the official DJ of the Revenge tour in 2017 with XXXTentacion, Ski Mask, Craig Xen, and others. He has toured with several other artists since then, providing the sounds for each of his friends at each show. Also being part of Member’s Only, this Florida-based group works together to uplift each other in the industry daily while simultaneously creating music to provide the public consistently with new projects. He has recently announced that tracks with Juice Wrld are on the way along with more collaborations with Ski Mask & production projects with Ronny J.
