YetepTrance and house veteran Markus Schulz is bringing his groovy expertise to Shady Park in just a few weeks. From the onset of his career, he has never failed to deliver fans something wholly unique with spoonfuls of progressive, trance, and house elements blended together so flawlessly it’s jaw-dropping. Headlining DJ sets, maintaining Armada and Coldharbour label releases and his world-renowned Global DJ Broadcast radio show, Schulz has rightfully earned his place at the top. In 2008, he held a highly ranked position in the DJ Mag’s Top 100 Chart and held it for four years straight. Schulz has played both internationally and in the US, worked alongside names like Paul van Dyk and Gareth Emery, and continues to exceed all expectations. The list of his accomplishments seems boundless as Schulz continues to push boundaries and dish out heart-racing release after release. He’s found that niche of trance that seems to pull at the heartstrings and plunge every listener into a nostalgia induced daze while still getting the blood-pumping.
Since his last release, “Heartbeat,” in March collaborating with long-time friend ATB, we have been soaking up every bit of his latest Global DJ Broadcast. He recently released his top 20 July playlist on Spotify. It’s chock full of up-tempo, euphoric sounds pumped up through choppy beats and massive hooks. Schulz truly knows how to serve his trademark sounds and influences on a shiny trance platter. But on July 26th, he collaborated with BT to deliver “I Need Love.” The track begins with an onslaught of epic drum lines sliding into a heavenly melodic voice complete with aural elements and blood-rushing beats. It’s everything we needed to amp us up for his upcoming show.
Grab tickets here to see Markus Schulz transform Shady Park into an uplifting trance atmosphere on August 23rd.
