YetepIconic house and techno producer Sacha Robotti has almost two decades in the industry under his belt, putting out music on labels like Dirtybird, Octopus Records, This Ain’t Bristol, and now his very own label, Slothacid. The imprint will release its very first EP on August 30th, a four-track project by Robotti entitled, Welcome to Slothacid. The first single off the EP is out now. Check out “Tail of a Siren” below.
“Tail of a Siren” is a psychedelic tech house thriller that teases at the weirdness to come in the upcoming Welcome to Slothacid EP, and the entire Slothacid label as a whole, most likely. Robotti said about the track: “It’s a love song from the future with weird distorted vocals that I wrote and sang, on eternal unreciprocated love, I guess, and with a German accent [laughs].”
Fans can expect to see new music every month or so on the new label, as Robotti follows his creative impulses to release whatever and whenever he wants. We are excited to see what Robotti does with this newfound creative freedom in the upcoming months.
Make sure you catch Sacha Robotti when he heads to Shady Park in Tempe on his Welcome to Slothacid Tour. Click here to purchase tickets.
