YetepIt was a big weekend for the “PandaFam” as house and club producer Deorro dropped two different tracks, collaborating with two different artists, complete with two different sounds. The LA native hit us with a double whammy, a Latin influenced Big Room track and high energy, buoyant House piece. Complete with dance-inducing beats and catchy, shout-worthy lyrics, these pieces are sure to find their way onto every club and festival floor over the next few months.
Despite being on his North American tour, Deorro’s releases are a testament to his unbeatable work as a producer and performer. “Retumba” itself marks the sixth collaboration with MAKJ in only 18 months. Starting with shimmering, yet heavy beats, the rising intro drops gracefully into a rumble of Big Room sound and steel coated kick drums that instantly gets the blood pumping. These two powerhouses coming together to fuse their sound and create something irresistibly groovy has us itching for even more. “Retumba” is out now on Ultra Records. Check it out below.
Also releasing on Ultra Records (the same day) is “Shake That Bottle.” Collaborating with Barcelona native Hektor Mass, the two deliver an absolute bass house bouncer. This energetic track is ready to take over the club scene as each drop sends us into an unstoppable array of movements amongst the CO2 cannons and flashing lights. Get ready to shake them bottles and let it get rowdy.
Deorro, real name Erick Orrosquieta, has become a legendary name among the Latin pop-influenced electronic scene. Collaborating with Steve Aoki, Carnage, Diplo, and so many more while taking the spotlight on the biggest stages around the world, just hearing Deorro’s name starts an infectious party of diverse house productions that can last all night. His momentum is unstoppable and we can’t wait to watch where it swings him next.
