YetepWakaan has just revealed a new EP release from the mighty Shlump. Put together and released with an abundance of bass and electronic fire, the California-based producer titled this one System Crash.
There are four tunes to soak up that fully capture his style of “alien bass music,” and each one will leave you ready for more. The title track drags you in slowly before the stripped back, dub style “Bum Rush Dub” eases you in with languid energy trickling through.
You can also peep “Mysteries” and “Spaceflight,” both of which turn the heat up and introduce a more dubstep-leaning tip. Shlump concludes: “With System Crash,’ I had the intention to curate an EP that broke conventional genre boundaries. I took inspiration from many different, strange places and wanted each track to have a vibe of its own. The goal was to create songs that would bend the normal “formula.”
