LA-based producer Sacha Robotti is fresh off the press with the latest track from his forthcoming EP. “Forget Tomorrow” features duo, tau0n, and further staples the new sound from Robotti that fans will be able to experience on August 30th when he drops Welcome to Slothacid and well into his North American tour. Following the first release, “Tail Of A Siren,” “Forget Tomorrow” creates an atmospheric uncanniness with thumping basslines and synthesizer overtones. Melting vocals drip over the instrumentals creating an eerie, choppy track that seems to smooth over listeners in an odd way. Sacha Robotti uses his incredible talent to create a piece that covers influence from a wide range of genres. By the song’s end, you’ll be forgetting tomorrow too. The track is out now on Slothacid Records. Check it out below.
This new venture is a testament to Sacha Robotti’s versatility in everything he does. The German-Italian producer speaks four languages, has a Masters degree, has lived all over the world, and started creating music in his teens. Sacha released his first record, “the major,” on Dirtybird Records, following with releases on Suara, Lost Records, Desert Hearts, and Insomniac. He’s been a fan favorite at festivals all over the world like EDC, Lightning in a Bottle, Burning Man, and Desert Hearts Festival. But now, this veteran producer is taking things one step further with Slothacid Records and his North American tour, kicking off on September 13th.
Sacha Robotti has come a long way amassing an unfathomable following with a message of love and respect that translates into his art. Mark your calendars for two big dates from this producer. On August 30th we’ll all be welcomed to Slothacid with the new EP and on Sunday, October 20th we’ll be able to experience a new sound when Sacha Robotti hits on open to close set at Shady Park.
