YetepAfter the stunning release of last album Little By Little, Lane 8 is back and winning over fans hearts with the lead single off his next album Brightest Lights. The beautiful melodic dance track “Brightest Lights” features airy vocals by POLIÇA, who Daniel of Lane 8 has brought on board in the past for fan favorite “No Captain.” Lane 8 keeps our feet moving with clean production and the delicate pop soundscape he has created on this nearly 7 minute long hit, which you do not want to overlook. In a Twitter thread following the single’s release, the thoughtful producer spoke on its meaning stating that, “’Brightest Lights’ is about celebrating and embracing the ups and downs of life and trying to see the world in a positive light.” Give “Brightest Lights” a listen below.
The title track gives fans an insight on the popular-dance sound of upcoming album Brightest Lights, which will be released in January 2020 on Daniel’s own label, This Never Happened, which is all about “experiencing the moment, not recording it.” Along with the album release, the talented Lane 8 will be touring the US and Europe throughout next spring. Fortunately for us, The Brightest Lights Tour will be stopping in Phoenix on March 14th at The Van Buren. You can grab tickets to dance the night away with Lane 8 here!
