YetepClaude VonStroke is perhaps one of the greatest names in house music. In 2005 he launched his record label, Dirtybird, and from it blossomed a full-fledged festival, music brand, and radio show. In the midst of this well-earned success, he’s also released five albums as well as some quintessential house tracks that are bumped in nearly every house set. After all these years, VonStroke has maintained a smile and a true joy for his craft when he plays on stage. In a typical VonStroke set, you might get groovy, funky, dirty house vibes. Experience those vibes for this week’s Radio Recap – episode #205 is below.
Claude VonStroke introduces this episode between light-hearted giggles, listing Steve Darko, Green Velvet, David Keno, and more Dirtybird releases to be featured in the episode as well as a guest mix from PillowTalk. In the middle of his show, Claude VonStroke surprises a randomly selected fan to attend the Dirtybird Campout festival. Claude seems to have built his own industry within an industry, and it’s thriving. He’ll be bringing Dirtybird family members Shiba San, Walker & Royce, and himself as well as others for Dirtybird Players on November 2nd. Get your tickets here.
