Adana Twins Remix Josh Wink’s ‘Higher State of Consciousness’

There are few songs more iconic than Josh Wink’s 1995 “Higher State of Consciousness.” Although there are multiple versions, the most popular and well-known is the “Tweekin Acid Funk Mix,” with an acid line that’s bold and full of energy.  Flash forward several decades to today, Josh Wink has just released an Adana Twins remix package of the track. The Adana Twins are a German duo with a passion for Techno. They put two completely different spins on “Higher State of Consciousness” resulting in a refreshing revamp of the original. While Wink’s 1995 thumper can never be topped, the remixes allow for an exciting new twist.
