YetepIt’s been nearly two years since we got fresh-cut, ethereal music from the all things progressive producer, Spencer Brown. Illusion of Perfection was undeniably no illusion, and it swayed fans in the only way techno and trance can. But back in December, Brown announced his upcoming album mix, Stream of Consciousness, with “SF to Berlin” and “Lose You,” which is now finally here. Released worldwide on Anjunabeats, a label perfectly fit to house Brown’s masterpieces, the album is undoubtedly a reflection of his poignant and cultivated sound. Ranging from trance, progressive house, (dubbed) trip house, and overall saturated vibes, these twelve tracks are sure to open your mind. Featured collaborations with regular studio partner, Ben Böhmer, Qrion, Liam Hathaway, and more, each track captures the essence of this genre in subtle, yet world-stopping ways. Hoping listeners reach a working flow-state in whatever you do, get lost in this unique production below.
The San Francisco based producer has been developing and mixing productions that always cater to the audience and unparalleled journey of sound for over ten years now. Garnering support from Avicii, Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Don Diablo, and so much more, Spencer Brown has truly made a name for himself amongst the scene. His career began with Above & Beyond discovering his 2014 debut EP, Chalice. Following up with Windows 95 on Acid, which released on mau5trap, his career only skyrocketed. Gracing some of the biggest stages the festival circuit has ever seen to the creation of a new concept called “Extended Sunset,” Brown has mastered the spirit of organic experience in harmony with nature and sound.
And what better way to welcome him back to Arizona than with a set at the beloved Shady Park. Click here for tickets to get lost in a Stream of Consciousness with Spencer Brown on March 1st.
