Kayzo, Whales, and Shiah Maisel Create Rocktronic Pop-Punk Banger ‘Replay’
LA-based producer Kayzo, known largely for the incorporation of hardstyle and trap sounds into his music, has been ever-growing and progressing in his skills and sound. Being the king of the doghouse himself, his sets have a lot of bark and bite, and his high-intensity drops are known to create exciting chaos and rowdy crowds. After several successful hits so far this year, Kayzo returns to the lab to cook up a brand new recipe. The new hit, “REPLAY,” is a well-balanced banger—no surprise!
Teaming up with fellow producer Whales to bring the idea to life, the two artists let singer-songwriter Shiah Maisel’s vocals take the spotlight. With nostalgic rock instrumentals, longing lyrics, and perfect summer vibes, this new track will no doubt be on replay.
Kayzo impresses yet again with a beautifully constructed hybrid of rock and bass on “Replay.” In an interview with DJ Magazine, Kayzo said, “I’ve always been a supporter of developing artists, as that is how I got my break. So when Whales sent me over a few ideas, ‘REPLAY’ was the one I gravitated to immediately. It has this melody that formed into this rocktronic pop-punk song perfect for summer. Shiah absolutely killed this vocal too. So excited to release this right as things are opening up and get back to playing live for fans!”
