Mix Fix: RZRKT – ‘The Afterlife’

We’re thankful for another week with another mix fix! This week were bumping the “The Afterlife,” a 30-minute dub-heavy mix from RZRKT. This up-and-coming talent is one you’ll want to remember. Get a taste below!

RZRKT starts with a killer intro that’ll make a crowd go bonkers, playing out his buddies LOUIEJAYXX and NAZAAR’s ID at 4:30. RZRKT showcases his own tune, “Heart,” at 15:27, which features sizzling, glitchy bass. Better yet, this mix is full of remixes! You’ll hear a “Boss” remix at 10:55 and an unexpected remix of Illenium’s “Brave Soul,” which was beautifully done. Finally, arriving at 34:05, the sample “here comes the bad times” followed by drum pounding riddim send us into a new dimension. We are looking forward to seeing what he has stored for us next!
