YetepAdam Puleo, better known as Wooli, has quickly become one of the biggest names in bass music. Just recently, Puleo has collaborated with Excision, Seven Lions, SLANDER, and many more. In addition to his iconic collaborations, Wooli has also produced plenty of impressive solo tracks, for instance, the first song off his latest EP, Resurrection.
An absolute weapon, titular track “Resurrection” is an epic start. With a cinematic intro, an exceptional build-up, and incredibly energizing drops, “Resurrection” is practically headbanger heaven. A jack of all trades, however, Wooli pivots into “Crazy”—a heartfelt ballad backed by beautiful melodic dubstep—with Codeko and Casey Cook.
Then, accompanied by his good friend Kompany, Wooli brings the madness one more time. Like a shot of adrenaline straight to the brain, “Fight Milk,” fuels one’s inner violence. Featuring dangerous drums, screaming synths, and bloodcurdling bass, this one was made with mayhem in mind.
Finally, to close out this 4-track EP, Wooli, Trivecta, and Scott Stapp, the lead singer of Creed, join forces on a melodic dubstep anthem. With powerful vocals, gorgeous drops, and so much more, “Light Up The Sky” is a beautiful way to close out an incredible EP.
This EP is one of Wooli’s grandest and best releases yet. A testament to versatility, adaptability, and masterful production, Resurrection is a reflection of Puleo’s impeccable talent. In other words, whatever he sets his mind to, Wooli simply does not miss.
Relentless Beats is proud to present Wooli on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at El Rey Theater in Albuquerque, NM, as well as on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Sunbar in Tempe, AZ. Click here for Albuquerque tickets; and here for Tempe tickets!
