YetepAnjunabeats superstar Ilan Bluestone is famous for his unique blend of bass-driven grooves and uplifting synths affectionately referred to as “tronce.” Ilan was exposed to electro-beats and dance music through trance parties with friends while still in school. These experiences served as a catalyst and inspiration for him to learn how to play the guitar and keyboard.
Aged 11, Ilan moved to England and continued to develop his passion and craft for dance music. Enrolling at Leeds Beckett University to study Music Technology gave Ilan the skills required to compose and produce his own tracks by playing the instruments separately before recording and layering the tracks on his computer. He began to release music in his early twenties through trance labels like Enhanced Music, Armada Music, L8-Night Records, and F! Records.
His first Anjunabeats appearance came as a feature on Maor Levi‘s “On Our Own” in 2011. His debut single for on Capetown was warmly received by the global trance family and was featured on Jordan Suckley’s BBC Radio 1’s “In New DJ’s We Trust” show. Ilan’s album Scars was nominated for the Billboard Top Trance Artist of the Year in 2018 and propelled him to cement his legacy as an Anjunabeats dignitary.
Currently, on the North American leg of his global tour to promote his new album Impulse, Ilan is set to perform at HB Social Club on April 23rd in Honolulu, Hawaii and at Sunbar on April 29th in Tempe, Arizona. If his previous performance at Shady Park on May 11th, 2019, is anything to go by, you won’t want to miss the experience to unite and celebrate with Anjunafamily.
