YetepThe latest release from Kai Wachi is here, and it’s a big one! “All Your Lies” featuring Lexi Norton is the first single from his upcoming EP SKINS, set to release this June. This track is more melodic than what we’ve seen from Kai Wachi in the past, delivering emotionally-driven lyrics, but still packing a gritty punch.
“All Your Lies” is out now via Kannibalen Records, and this week’s Relentless Beat of the Week—listen below!
The track opens with Norton’s harmoniously rich, textured vocals, paired with an emotive, sweeping piano instrumentation. Kai Wachi’s production sensibilities take over, creating a unique melodic soundscape that’s maintained from start to finish.
Of the track, the artists said:
‘All Your Lies’ is about realizing you got yourself into a relationship that wasn’t serving you anymore and taking your power back. It can be a really hard pattern to break out of — learning how to not make yourself small in order to make other people feel comfortable. I’ve done that shit for years and I finally feel like I’m cutting the tethers to that belief system by allowing my authenticity to shine. You will never be “too bright” for the right people–don’t dim your light for anyone– Lexi NortonThis is probably the deepest and most epic song I’ve ever been a part of. Lexi from Echos is one of my favorite songwriters/vocalists ever so I feel blessed to work with her.-Kai Wachi
Continuing to establish his creative vision, Kai Wachi’s latest offering serves as a monumental release. Further cementing his place as now of bass music’s finest rising talents, Kai Wachi is preparing to enter a new chapter this year and head down the path of making 2022 his biggest yet.
You can catch Kai Wachi later this month on Black Tiger Sex Machine’s Once Upon A Time In Cyberworld tour, stopping at the Phoenix Raceway in Avondale! See the full lineup and grab tickets here.
