YetepTVBOO and GRiZ have finally released their long awaited collab “Bass Music”, out now on Wakaan, which is also the lead track off of TVBOO’s debut album Blue Collar Bass: By the People, For the People. “Bass Music” was first played at a GRiZ show in July of 2021 so fans have been waiting over a year for the wonky bass tune to drop. The tongue-in-cheek vocals combined with squelchy, funky bass gives “Bass Music” the sound we’d expect from a GRiZ and TVBOO collaboration. The collab came about after TVBOO asked GRiZ to come on his podcast that he airs on YouTube called “Talks with TVBOO”, GRiZ said the only way he’d go on is if they made a tune together too. TVBOO discussed on their podcast episode how GRiZ has been his favorite artist since he got into electronic music.
Along with announcing his debut album TVBOO has also announced his first-ever headline tour. See “Bass Music” live and come catch TVBOO’s debut album tour for Blue Collar Bass: By the People, For the People at Darkstar in Tempe on September 17th. You can get your tickets here.
