YetepIt’s no secret that PEEKABOO is one of the industry’s finest producers of freeform bass. Being a pioneer of midtempo, his distinctive wonky sound has continued to evolve and thrive over the past few years. His latest EP Secrecy shows off just how impressive both his production style and personalized sound have become.
Check out PEEKABOO’s Secrecy EP via Deadbeats below:
A deep dubstep dream, Secrecy is full of dimension. This four-track roll out is entirely made of fire and features two major collaborations. Starting off with the intro track “Evil Lair” PEEKABOO sets the mood with dark synths and sizzling snares. Title track “Secrecy” then leads us into a deep trance with hypnotic vocals and deep wubby bass. Closing out the EP are the two collabs, “Deviant” with G-Rex and “Sacrament” with Sully, that are both a couple of heavy hitters. With a degree in audio engineering for horror films, it’s no wonder PEEKABOO can create this eerie yet addictive sound design found throughout the EP.
PEEKABOO will be headed back to Sunbar in Tempe, AZ this December 16th! You can get more info and grab your tickets here.
