Champagne Drip Unveils ‘Time Warp’ EP

As a master mixologist of sonic cocktails, Champagne Drip has never been one to shy away from spilling into a vast array of musical genres. His Time Warp EP is no different; the forward-thinking, 4-track collection of songs pushes past the sounds of bass, drawing influences from the breakneck rhythms of drum and bass to the driving beat of techno.

Time Warp begins its journey in the realm of heavy bass on “That Feelin,” a wonky, ear-shattering collaboration with fellow Wakaan member Sully. Champagne Drip switches gears on “Acid Underground,” transporting listeners to the depths of a grimy warehouse with the unrelenting, rugged basslines of techno. Abducting your soul to a higher dimension is “Ur War,” featuring delicate, floating vocals by Cristina Soto and pulsing, wobbly bass that contribute to an otherworldly experience. Closing the EP is “Beyond” with its dizzying drum and bass interludes.

Prior to embarking on his Time Warp Tour, Champagne Drip took to his social media to state: “With TIME WARP I’ll be exploring where the past, present and future intersect. Where TIME WARPs, we will visit warehouse raves of the past on future colonies in space.”
