Relentless Beats

Artist Spotlight: Sosa

Fresh and new to the scene, house DJ and producer Sosa has been taking over the house game. Coming from Liverpool, Sosa (or Jay Bradford), has been producing for only a few years, but thanks to a constant flow of releases and a packed touring schedule, he has been gaining international attention fast.

SOSA – Ministry Sessions London DJ Set

Bradford started out as a raver in the UK crowds, then being drawn to producing music, he began creating his house tracks. Sosa has a unique distinguishable sound, mixing uplifting upbeat drums which are backed by groovy bouncing baselines. His tunes began gaining attention in clubs around the UK and Ibiza. Bradford then was able to work with and collaborate with big-name artists like Green Velvet, Solardo, Camelphat, Chris Lake, Fisher, and many more, quickly pushing his career into the worldwide spotlight. His track “DFCW,” released in 2019, contributed to the rising success of his career, although, Sosa has created many iconic belters since then, such as “Your Love,” “Bugbeat,” and my personal favorite, “It’s Time To Move.”  Additionally, Bradford has released a variety of tracks on an array of record labels, including Sola Records, Repopulate Mars, Blackbook Records, and even his own record label, COCO.

As his career as a DJ and producer was taking off, Sosa also launched his own record label, COCO. The label aims to release music from underground house artists around the world. You can hear an assortment of unique fire house bangers that have the support and love from Sosa himself below.

This is only the beginning for Sosa. As he continues to release heaters and play shows internationally, Sosa is someone to keep on your radar. He always seems to have something special cooking up. Lucky for us, Sosa is coming to Sunbar on Friday, May 12th. For more information on the show and to grab your tickets, click here.
